Coordinator, Wexner Israel Fellowship Program
Abbey Onn is Coordinator for the Wexner Israel Fellowship Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School. She represents The Wexner Foundation at Harvard and works with mid-career Israelis who spend a year studying for a Master’s in Public Administration at the Kennedy School.
Before joining The Wexner Foundation, Abbey directed the recruiting and selection process for The Robertson Scholars Program at Duke University and The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In addition, she advised 130 scholars on academic issues, study abroad programs and career opportunities. Before that, she spent six years working for Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Jerusalem, Israel. She planned and supervised Hillel’s Hurricane Katrina Alternative Breaks for 3 years, attracting over 2500 participating students from 50 campuses in the US and Canada. Abbey holds a BA in English Literature from The George Washington University and an MA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University.
She is married to Oded Onn, a Senior Consultant for Deloitte. They are the parents of Aviv.
