Individuals who have previously applied for the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholars Program may reapply for the 2012-2013 academic year.
All reapplicants must fill out a new "Intake Questionnaire" accessed at the bottom of the "Applications and Instructions" page.
The Foundation does not encourage former applicants to reapply unless they feel certain that a new application will present a significantly different profile of their skills and potential than the previous application. Potential reapplicants might want to explore their situation with the Director of the Fellowship Program.
Reapplicants should note that their application packages will be reviewed on an equal basis with all new applicants during the selection process; in other words, former applicants who may have been semi-finalists or finalists will not automatically be granted the same status. Reapplicants are required to fill out a new application and submit new essays. Transcripts, GRE scores, letters of reference and the application form do not need to be resubmitted if they have not changed. If reapplying in a different qualifying career area, however, we advise candidates to evaluate the appropriateness of their previous letters of recommendation to a new career goal. More relevant letters may be appropriate.
We also suggest that a statement describing the candidate's most recent activities (e.g., additional education, employment and volunteer work) accompany the new essays, and that this statement also indicate why the candidate did not enter a graduate program as previously planned. This statement should not exceed 500 words and should be submitted directly by email to Linda Smith at lsmith@wexner.net.
If the reapplicant has engaged in formal study, submission of an additional transcript is advisable.
If you are reapplying please contact Linda Smith at lsmith@wexner.net to discuss the submission of your new application.
