Eligibility Forms for the 2010-2011 academic year are no longer available. Please be advised that our annual admission cycle opens up during the spring months. You are welcome to check our website for more detailed information at that time.

Applications

Eligibility Forms and Applications for the 2010-2011 academic year are available to candidates from June 21, 2009 and may be requested until November 1, 2009.  Applications must be submitted by November 15, 2009.

• Be at least 30 years and not more than 45 years of age.
• Have at least seven years of substantial professional experience in the public sector or in public interest organizations, and be committed to careers in the public interest.
• Hold an academic degree.
• Have a professional career reflecting significant demonstrated leadership and the ability to perform well in a rigorous, interdisciplinary academic program.
• Pass required English examinations (TOEFL) showing language ability sufficient to meet Harvard's standards, as published on the website of the Harvard Kennedy School. The minimum grades for the 2010-2011 academic year are as follows:
  
  
  • 100 or higher on the Internet-based test (IBT)
  • 250 or higher on the Computer-based test (CBT)
  • 600 or higher on the Paper-based test (PBT)
• It is recommended that candidates begin TOEFL preparation as early as possible in the months prior to application.  TOEFL grades, and any relevant appeal, must be submitted by November 15, 2009 (application deadline) to The Wexner Foundation office in Israel.
• Be likely to achieve important leadership positions in Israel upon their return; recipients also obligate themselves to at least three years of continued service in the Israeli public sector following completion of the program.
