What a wonderful way to start the day. We learned about the Megillah for Shavuot – Ruth – and will be meeting 5 times a year to study all the Megillot together. It’s like a family reunion (without the mess).

Susan Borison, a former attorney, transferred the adversarial skills acquired as a lawyer to her next job, mother of five. During her years as CEO of her household, Sue was on the executive board of Fuchs Mizrachi School and Green Road Synagogue. She also spent time on the boards of Federation and JCC. Today, she is on the board of AJC, serving on several Federation and JCC committees. She is currently the founder and co-owner of Your Teen Media. Susan’s business partner is Stephanie Silverman, WHA (Cleveland 05 and pictured above) who she met in the airport on the way to Aspen for their first Wexner Institute.  Susan can be reached at borison@yourteenmag.com.

It was so great to get the group together for a spirited conversation. Ilana was terrific and everyone is on board to continue all of the Megillot. It would be a tiny bit more fun if we were in Aspen!

Jessica Semel, a Wexner Heritage alumna (Cleveland 05), has been both a Jewish professional, having worked at Hillel and the Mandel JCC, and a volunteer – at her synagogue, Federation, JCC, and Shaker Heights Schools.  For the past four years she has been the Director of The Public Education Initiative, a volunteer tutoring program in the Cleveland Schools funded and managed by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland . Jessica can be reached at jbsemel@gmail.com.
