The application process includes several stages and extends over several months. Candidates must first complete an online Eligibility Form. Those who are found to meet initial conditions for applying will receive the full Application Form.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The Wexner Israel Fellowship accepts applications from outstanding mid-career professionals working in national and local government; government authorities; government companies; defense and security forces; hospitals and HMO's and non-government organizations with distinctly public-sector activities.

 To be eligible, candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 7 years of substantial professional experience, of which at least 5 are in the public sector as defined above.
  • Be fully committed to careers in the public sector.
  • Demonstrate leadership capacity and the ability to perform well in a rigorous, interdisciplinary academic program.
  • Be between 30 and 45 years of age at the start of the academic program.

  • Meet HKS admissions requirements, including required English test results (TOEFL or IELTS) as determined by HKS.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to submit their Eligibility Form as early as possible. Please note that the TOEFL, IELTS grades are not required for submitting an Eligibility Form.

It is recommended that candidates begin preparation for the required standard examination as early as possible in the months prior to the application deadline. IELTS or TOEFL, and any relevant appeals, must be submitted to both HKS and The Wexner Foundation.
