Today we are witnessing history unfold as the American teenage populace is mobilizing. This moment will be recorded as one in which adolescents were the catalysts for societal change – and they will keep fighting because they know that they are on the right side of history.

Wexner Graduate Fellow Alum David Bryfman (Class 17) has worked in formal and informal Jewish educational institutions in Australia, Israel, and America.  In Australia he was the Director of Informal Jewish Education at a large Jewish day school, a Hillel Director, and the Director of Birthright Israel in Australia.  David lived in St. Louis for two years where he was the Director of the Central Agency’s Community Supplementary High School and Teen Initiative Programs.  He now lives in New York where he has recently completed his PhD in Jewish Education at NYU focusing on the identity development of Jewish adolescents in formal and informal educational settings.  David is currently the Director of the New Center for Collaborative Leadership at the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York.
