Jill Einstein, WHP Alum (San Francisco 08), for being appointed Director of Physician Engagement for The MAVEN Project (Medical Alumni Volunteer Expert Network) which connects physician volunteers with U.S. medical clinics caring for under-served patient populations via telehealth technology.

Alan Frankel, WHP Alum (Chicago 06), for being named President of the Board of Directors of Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Avi Gil, WIF Alum (Class 3), on the publishing of his book The Peres Formula: From the Diary of a Confidant.

Josh Joseph, WHP Alum (San Francisco 14), for being awarded Federation's 2018 Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award for Young Leadership.

Marian Scheuer Sofaer, WHP Alum (San Francisco 1), for editing a new book by Jay Waronker, a conservation architect, on all the existing synagogues in India (about 38 synagogues).

Arie Zohar, WIF Alum (Class 2), on the publishing of his books All That Remains Are the Minutes, summarizing almost 47 years of service in the government secretariat; and A Poem in the Dark, a book of poetry.
