On Sunday, The Wexner Foundation showcased a glimpse of our future by doing a soft launch of the new WexnerFoundation.org. In the good old days, a business would hang out a shingle; as the internet became widely used, organizations hung out their 2.0 “shingles” online.  Today, we are in the process of launching much more than a virtual address; it is a comprehensive, wiki-style leadership tool. Since seven is a good number for Jews, we think of this digital transition as “WexnerFoundation.org 7.0” and in the coming weeks, our website will be rolling out these 7.0 leadership tools for you to use and build with us through the various interactive platforms it will provide.

Some of the new digital enhancements will include: leadership and online learning resources including videos, and interactive blogs; leadership nuggets and book recommendations from Les; links to job opportunities in the Jewish community, and most importantly the WexnerNETWORK (that’s you).  Together, these tools will enhance your ability to find your thought partners and allies amongst our Members, Fellows, and Alumni. The WexnerNETWORK welcomes you to add your voice and ideas, to communicate, crowd source, stack hands, and synergize the talent and dedication of our constituents across the globe.

You will still receive a weekly email from us, which we have renamed WexnerLEADS, and most likely you will notice that the “look” has changed. It’s not only the style, however, because WexnerLEADS includes leads for you to follow up on. We invite you right now to click on some of the blogs contained in this email and comment, or ask questions, or post your own blog to float your new thinking by the most avid social change agents and thought leaders who comprise our network of fellows, members, alumni, and friends. If you need tech help, contact us In the coming weeks as we work through all the details.  Meanwhile, WexnerLEADS will continue to pump out other ways that you can be helpful to the Foundation to help us help you leverage our amazing network.

Les often emphasizes curiosity as a vital attribute in good leaders. So, for the curious among you, if you choose to navigate around the site even while it is in its “beta” stage, we welcome your visits and your comments.

For the very curious, we invite you to navigate around as we continue to upload new content, iron out bugs, and prepare for our official launch. You will find “CONNECT” which gives all Wexner Members, Fellows and Alumni the tools to connect to other “Wexnerites” through a password protected members search. "CONNECT" and the WexnerNETWORK will be a powerful resource that was built because of multiple requests from you to make it easy to find one another. You will no longer have to go through the office to search for Presidents of Day School Boards across our network, for example. In order for this powerful search tool to work, we need all Members, Fellows and Alumni to update your profiles. You will be hearing much more about WexnerNETWORK in the coming weeks, but please feel free to create or update your profile so you remain a part of this 7.0 community as we move forward.

We invite you right now to click on some of the blogs contained in this email and comment, or ask questions, or post your own blog to float your new thinking by the most avid social change agents and thought leaders who comprise our network of Fellows, Members, Alumni, and friends.

In the meantime, welcome to WexnerLEADS.
