The Denver/Boulder community is so pleased that the Wexner Heritage Program is returning to our area.  The program is made possible through a partnership between JewishColorado (formerly known as the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado) and the Rose Community Foundation.

Several Denver/Boulder Wexner alumni, and other alums who have made the wise decision to relocate to Denver, gathered this past week at the home of Irit and Art Waldbaum to help plan and brainstorm potential nominees for our upcoming THIRD cohort in our community. Our group came up with many potential nominees for the program, from all walks of Jewish life.  Individual names were ultimately paired with the appropriate alums to do the actual nomination. Our community is so fortunate to have this opportunity for leadership and learning coming back, and looks forward to welcoming our newest Wexnerites in the spring!

Judy Altenberg, a Denver 08 Wexner Heritage alum, has just finished a two-year term as Chair/Campaign Chair of the Jewish Women’s Philanthropy Center at the Allied Jewish Federation.  Judy is the co-chair of the 2014 International Lion of Judah Conference, to be held in NY next September, and a Trustee of the Rose Community Foundation.   Judy is involved in many other educational organizations as well and can be reached at judy.altenberg@gmail.com.
