The call will be chaired by The Wexner Foundation President, Rabbi B. Elka Abrahamson, and feature Dr. Sarah Bunin Benor (WGFA, Class 11) and sociologist Dr. Steven M. Cohen, who were all members of the Advisory Panel for the Pew Trust. The call will include a Q and A session.

Dr. Sarah Bunin Benor is Associate Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion (Los Angeles), Adjunct Associate Professor at U.S.C.’s Linguistics Department and an alumna of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship, Class 11. She is the author of Becoming Frum: How Newcomers Learn the Language and Culture of Orthodox Judaism

Dr. Steven M. Cohen is a sociologist whose work focuses on the American Jewish Community. He is currently a Research Professor of Jewish Social Policy at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and the Director of the Berman Jewish Policy Archive at NYU Wagner. His dozen books include The Jew Within (with Arnold Eisen) and American Modernity & Jewish Identity, and American Assimilation or Jewish Revival.  He was the lead researcher on the Jewish Community Study of New York: 2011.
