Sarah Benor, an alumna of The WGF (Class 11), on being named runner-up for the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature for her book “Becoming Frum: How Newcomers Learn the Language and Culture of Orthodox Judaism.”

Elisa Spungen Bildner, an alumna of The WHP  (Metro West), upon being appointed by the Obama administration to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.

Tracey Bilski, an alumna of The WHP  (NY 5), on her new position as Vice President, the Center for Entrepreneurial Jewish Philanthropy.



Barat Ellman, an alumna of The WGF (Class 12), on the publication of her new book,"Memory and Covenant: The Role of Israel’s and God’s Memory in Sustaining the Deuteronomic and Priestly Covenants."

Ruth Lande, an alumna of The WIF (Class 18), is now a Deputy Director General at the Center for Local Government, in addition to her responsibilities as head of external relations.

Daniel Lichtenstein, an alumnus of The WIF (Class 19), has been promoted to head medical management in the Jerusalem area of the Meuchedet Health Fund.

Justin Pines, a member of The WGF (Class 26) for his engagement to Tali Goldberg.  Justin’s father, Alan Pines, is an alumnus of  The WHP (MetroWest 08).

Yariv Regev, an alumnus of The WIF (Class 23), on his promotion to second in command in the States Attorney Office under Moshe Lador.

Meryl Rosenberg, an alumna of The WHP (Washington DC), on being named one of this year’s “10 Women to Watch” by Jewish Women International.

Eve Rudin, an alumna of The WGF (Class 8), on her recent engagement to Rabbi Elliott Kleinman. 

Moshe Simon-Shoshan, an alumnus of The WGF (Class 7), on his book "Stories of the Law : Narrative Discourse and the Construction of Authority in the Mishnah"  which was awarded Honorable Mention in the Jordan Schnitzer Book Awards of the Association for Jewish Studies  in the category of Biblical Studies, Rabbinics, and Jewish History and Culture in Antiquity.

Aaron Schocket, an alumnus of The WHP (Columbus 11), who received the Therese Stern Kahn and William V. Kahn Young Leadership Award from the Columbus Jewish Federation.
