It is my pleasure to share this photo from our latest alumni learning session with Rabbi David Ingber, the founder and Rabbi of Romemu, in New York City. Since our graduation from the Wexner Heritage Program in 2011, our Westchester 2009 class has continued to learn together, meeting around 5 times a year at various people’s homes. I took the lead in organizing these sessions the past two years. Last year we were delighted to learn with Rabbi Larry Hoffman. This year Rabbi Ingber has been truly inspiring and refreshing. We have picked up a few alums outside of our class along the way as well and usually have about 20 people, including spouses, of course.

I saw the photos of the Heritage Summer Institute in Utah and wanted to let everyone know that we are carrying on the energy we got there, both in our leadership and commitment to the community and also in continuing to learn and grow from Jewish study. Have an amazing retreat in Utah and convey my regards to everyone.
