The Wexner Foundation is pleased to announce that it has just accepted its second cohort of Columbus Jewish teenagers to the Wexner Service Corps (WSC).  The second cohort includes 10 members from the inaugural cohort, who will participate in a Senior Leadership Cohort of the WSC, joining 25 additional new members.  The new members of the second cohort will be juniors or seniors in the 2014-2015 academic year and represent a wide range of schools, synagogues, youth groups, and other local community involvement.

All participants will head to New Orleans in June 2014 for a five-day Jewish service-learning program, and return to participate in monthly service opportunities in the Columbus community. Participants can look forward to exploring Judaism and social justice, and explore questions like how and why do we give, to whom do we give, and how can we build a society that reflects our values.
